Entrepreneurial Motivation

Two Questions I’m messaged most often:

When did you leave Juice Beauty?

In late 2023!  (more on the “why” some other time….)

What has driven you to start 3 companies?

Short answer: It comes from within…but read on.As a serial entrepreneur, the drive to create and innovate comes from within. It’s a relentless forceful feeling that lives deep inside, constantly on your brain urging you to bring your vision to life. The motivation for me always starts first and foremost with a values driven mission idea coupled with the sheer joy of creation, and then ultimately building something that can be profitable. For me, the essence of entrepreneurship is about recognizing a need or a gap in the market and having the courage to address it in a unique manner. It’s thrilling to take a concept from your brain… to the drawing board… to the marketplace, and knowing that your innovation has the potential to make a difference.

I remember in my ‘later’ 40’s starting Juice Beauty, I fought with myself thinking…am I too old to start a 3rd business? Shouldn’t I be a full time Mom as my kids were just 6 and 8 years old? Will my husband and friends think I’m crazy (again?). Now in my later 60’s, I stopped fighting with my personality—it is just who I am—a serial entrepreneur. This inner drive is what keeps me going and makes life so exciting for myself but I also always trying to take my family on the roller coaster ride with me. #femaleentrepreneur #entrepreneur
